The small medieval village Ferentillo is situated only a few km away from Arrone in Nera Valley, just 6 km away from the famous falls Cascate delle Marmore. The 2 castles in the village controlled the valley in the Middle Ages. Nowadays they are a very picturesque photo motives. You will find some shops and restaurants in the village.

This recently completely restored old stone house is situated on the beautiful calm panoramic hillside. On the area of 35000 sq. m there are olive, oak trees  and a small mixed forest that reaches the valley. It overlooks the Nera Valley - a nature reserve. The estate can be reached through a private gateway (about 300 m private way). There is also a small car park at the disposal of the guests.

Above the house, also in a panoramic location, there is a new swimming pool (built in 2010, measurements: 11m x 4,5m x 1,5m) with natural stone surrounds. Opening time: from the beginning of June till the middle / end of September. The guests have deckchairs and bricked barbecue at their disposal.

The house was restored with a loving care. Its ground floor offers 3 separate apartments for 2+2 persons on the valley side: 

Rovere (about 43 sq.m): forecourt in front of the apartment with outside furniture, living/dining room with satellite TV and double bed settee, kitchenette (gas cooker with 4 burners and oven, ***), bedroom and a bathroom.

Olivo (about 40 sq.m): like Rovere, bathroom with a shower box.

Corbezzolo (about 33 sq.m): forecourt in front of the apartment with outside furniture, kitchen-dinner (***) with satellite TV and double bed settee and a bathroom. The sleeping area is is separated from the rest of the apartment by the arch.

The equipment of the apartments is completely new - first hire in 2010. The furnishing is rustic but well-kept: wooden furniture, Cotto floors, beautiful  insulated windows and real wood doors..., central heating (gas).
