A holiday home in the ancient palazzo in the centre of Florence, only a few steps away from the cathedral square.

This holiday home (about 200 sq.m.) is in many respects really extraordinary. Firstly, it is located in via Giraldi, only about 200m away from the landmark of Florence – the cathedral with its famous dome of Brunelleschi. Nevertheless, it is very quiet because there are only a few shops in this small street. Secondly, restaurants, bars, shops and museums, i.e.  Museo del Bargello, Museo Casa di Dante or a cathedral's museum (absolutely worth seeing!) which was reopened for a few years are just around the corner, within a walking distance of about 5 min. Another advantage of this holiday home is a possibility of sightseeing of a cathedral or Baptistery without crowds of other visitors. You can just come there in the morning and admire the absolutely wonderful art monuments. Going 400 m in the other direction, you will see the world-famous Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery.

This holiday home for up to 6+4 pers. is located on the first floor and it is also extraordinary regarding its size and equipment:

You come into the apartment through the long hallway (with a sofa set and a TV). The glass door divide it in two parts.  From the first part of the hallway you enter following rooms: spacious living room (2 double sleep sofas, old fireplace – not suitable for heating- sofa set for 14 people), bedroom with a double bed (additional bed on request) and a bathroom (shower cubicle). In the second part of the hallway there is a dining room for 12 people. The back part of the holiday home is to be reached from this dining room; on the left there are a bathroom with a shower cubicle and a stirs to the laundry. Another door leads you to the spacious and well equipped kitchen  (fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, espresso maker, induction cooker with an oven). The 3rd. door leads to 2 separate small housing units: 1st one features: living room with a double sleep sofa, sleeping gallery with a double bed and a bathroom (shower cubicle); 2nd one is bigger: 2 rooms, double bedroom with a sofa and an open-plan bathroom (bathtub), dining room. 

The terrace on the courtyard's side of the Palazzina rounds out the the list of the advantages of this holiday home. However, the terrace itself has also 2 advantages: it shelters from the wind in the transitional seasons of the year and provides shadow in the summer. 

The apartment was carefully restored. The owner have furnished and decorated it with passion for detail: on the one wall in the hallway there are old paintings painted by the owner; all rooms are tastefully and modern furnished but they harmonise with the old structure of a building. The equipment of all of the bathrooms is made of the finest materials and the bathroom fittings are highly modern. All of the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and Wifi (receiving in the whole apartment). 

The centre of Florence is relatively small and easy to sightsee. Actually, you don't need a car here. It is more comfortable to come here with a train because the railway station is to be reached within easy walking distance (about 15-20 min.).

If you do decide to come here by car: the apartment is located on the fringe of the closed for traffic zone and the chargeable parking spaces are not far away. 

Holiday home for up to 12 people. Thanks to the good separated housing units it is also perfect for 2-3 families.
